Gotta be smarter than WxMan who nearly got to make a trip to the ER for stitches. Thankfully the injury is not nearly as bad as originally thought. Kids damn well better enjoy that basketball hoop game thing.

The funny is because of the damn well better like it. Glad you did not have to go to the ER.

Merry Christmas RTT!!

Do tell . . .

Mostly just me being an idiot. The nuts for the thing I was assembling were stuck together so I used a small flathead to try and pry them apart. Instead of being smart and doing it on something I just held them in my fingers. Well when it slipped off it stabbed my finger.

Guessing you presented a bottle of wine as a thank you. So, what is a good thank you bottle of wine? I don’t know enough in this area so figured I’d ask the master.

This is tough. If you buy something too nice for peeps that don't really like good wine you're wasting your money. If you try and buy wine for peeps that really know their wine you're likely to undershoot their preferences. I'm just a dumb ass kid from a little town in Iowa that went to an eng/ag school so I don't actually know ****. I'm not drinking from a bottle in paper sack but also not drinking from the top shelf. I have a little niche of $16-25 French wines I like. For true wine peeps I opt for a true French champagne because that's a universal. Other than French Rhone blends it's the only thing I am confident in.

I have a buddy whose wife was maid/matron of honor at a wedding that was held at the family's Champagne vineyard. They have their own label of course. Buddy gave us a couple of bottles for Christmas one year. Incredible stuff, but wasted on Mrs. Velo since Champagne goes right to her head. Buddy and wife go and help with harvest every couple of years. Sounds like quite a life having Champagne as the family business.

Also heard a cover of Pat Benatar's Hell is for Children on Liquid Metal. The original version rocked so much better than that remake.
