Snow in the sky and would stick to a cold car, but melted when it hit the ground. Youngest niece got married yesterday, beautiful wedding and a fun reception. I wish them a long and happy marriage.
Not a knock on our new mods at all, but why all the new ones all of a sudden? Did some quit “modding” or being on the site?
Drinking wine, eating pizza and watching the new Netflix sci-fi movie Stowaway. Ten minutes in and I am already full on with Mystery Science Theater 3000 commentary. 
At this point I don't care bear if it turns out to suck because I'll have fun anyway. Mediocre sci-fi > no sci-fi at all.

Woof! That was freakin' awful! Anna Kendrick should stick to Perfect Pitch movies and Daniel Dae Kim might want to be more selective in the movies he signs on to. The other two actors? Who cares, they sucked as did the movie.
Hard to tell. It was so bad I was stunned into silence for the last half and fast forwarded through the worst of it.

Memory: When second-oldest Shelby was very young (2? 3?), the vixen got mad at the dog and, with Shelby nearby, yelled "Goddam dog!" Shelby immediately started parroting this, walking around the house yelling "Goddam dog! Goddam dog!" It was almost a week before it quit being interesting to her. Best part was one day at Fareway - Shelby saw a lady carrying a small Yorkie in her arms, and blasted "Goddam dog!" twice before the vixen could clap a hand over her mouth.
Cuss words must trigger a different part of the brain. Kids and parrots sure pick up the words quickly.
Cuss words tend to be said with special inflection, loudly and exuberantly. That tends to make them stand out to even those that don't know what they mean.
A week ago I left a message to a mudjacking contractor for an estimate about getting a section of my driveway leveled as the rest of the driveway is just fine. They never called back.
I am supposed to get my second dose tomorrow. Every week they have sent me a reminder of the date and said things like '3-4 days out' or 'a couple of days out' they would send a link so I can schedule my shot. Well here it is less than 24 hours out and I haven't heard anything since the last such reminder a week ago.

No, they just gave me my shot and said that they would be sending out an email for me to schedule my next shot in a few weeks. It really is a pain in the ass though because they only give you about a week to do it, and I really don't want to miss work for it. I would have really preferred that they schedule it then so that I can ask for time off now if need be.
They did that for many up here but since mine is through the City Health Department they made sure to find a way to screw it up. Apparently I'm not the only one they forgot to contact. Supposedly they should respond to me shortly so I can get on their scheduling link and find out that all of the appointments are gone for tomorrow.
Ruh-roh. By the company, as a scare tactic, or by the police knocking on your door?
