I'm trying to think of a time I said I was already busy where anyone said ok, we work around it. My increasing frustration is why I am getting more serious about looking into working for the gas pipeline. I think I'll call my friend tomorrow. Pretty sure he is still in town for another week.

I remember driving to work some times when I lived in central Iowa where I had no business being on the road. You would get out into the country and the blowing snow made it practically impossible to even see the yellow line

As I get older I find time is more valuable than money quite often. I have busy times, but also have slow times. Being self-employed can work well if you are good with managing your time. It doesn’t bother me to do stuff on Saturdays or sundays, but then there are days like tuesday that it was really nice that I just said I’m done today at 2 and I just relaxed and enjoyed the day.

Well in my neck of the woods it was kind of the blizzard that wasn't, ended up with a couple of inches snow tops, did have some big drifts that I needed to move from in front of my garage. Driving last night could have been tough, but by 7 this morning it wasn't really bad at all.
 
So i have a laptop i bought from best buy a couple years ago. Got the geek squad protection because that's usually worked well with laptops for me.

Sent it in to have some things fixed a couple months ago. Some things fixed, one major thing not (computer randomly just shuts off around 50% battery)

Sent it back in a couple weeks ago. Just got it back today. They replaced heatsink and motherboard. But, as i found, they apparently replaced the I7-8550U with an I5-8250U, a downgraded processor. Also the computer was locked out by bitlocker when i received it, so i know they couldntve tested the battery failure after that replacement (testing that now myself).

So back to the shop it'll go. ****. At least i checked the right place and saw it.

I ordered a hat from the ISU bookstore. Supposed to be in on the 18th. Wait and see it arrives Monday.

Ames People keep asking why OC isn’t open. No one there seems to look for an answer. They just ask the same stupid questions over and over.

If you are sitting next to him at a table that's the kind of talk that get's you slapped across the back of the head. That must be the 2nd dumbest thread on CF today, I couldn't even click on the Campbell retiring one, why piss myself off.

We've entered full off-season mode and it is crazier than normal, which is saying something. It's like some of these guys want Campbell to leave just so they can whine about it.
