Rahshon Clark Here

Get that optimism outta here, people that know nothing about the game are very concerned.

Everyone needs to give him a chance. Is he Fred? No, but does he have a great team? Yes. I believe the coaching staff will learn from the team and the team will learn from the coaching staff. If Fred never came to ISU to coach I believe everyone would open up a little more to coach. That's just my opinion. We gotta give him a chance.

Thank you for choosing Iowa State, Rahshon. I will never forget that long winning streak your freshman year that included wins on the road at Texas and our last win at Kansas. Also will never forget you were one of the few that stuck with this program when things got tough.

Trying to working and respond is tough. Lol

Not going to lie, the decision for me to stay was very tough. See all the guys I went to battle with leave was tough for me. And to see Coach Morgan and the coaching staff get released after my 2nd year in the program which my 1st year we went to the NCAA tournament and 2nd year we didnt do anything but we had the pieces to do some great things the next year was tough. When I made the decision to stay, it wasnt because what guys we had coming in or what coach coming. I stayed because thru the ups and downs Y'ALL always had my back and I wasn't going to turn my back on Y'ALL.

You have some huge fans in our house, Rahshon. It was pretty amazing that you stayed when Morgan was let go, and that you continued to be the heart and soul of the team for the next two years. I was at every single one of those home games, and loved that you left your heart on the court.

Thanks for that!

Not sure if any of y'all knew any this but I committed to ISU without even visiting. When my father passed Coach Morgan and the coach staff stayed in contact with me and my mother, making sure we were doing ok. If it weren't for that I don't think I would've ended up at ISU. And I think it hit me harder then everyone else when they got released. I actually broke down during that press conferences

It had to be rough to have made this blind leap of faith, and then to not have that safety net of Coach Morgan anymore suddenly. It was amazing you stuck around, and we thank you for it.

We have a son in Orlando and considered the trip, but I usually wind up doing the whole Thanksgiving meal for about 25 people, so would have to convince them to all go. And that is one of the few times grad student son in Orlando can come home.

Rahshon, you should definitely contact Coach Prohm, he has had several Cyclone greats come back to talk to the team. Maybe a dunk contest with Burton?

Burton has some amazing dunks, but I'm afraid that this would still be no contest - Rahshon is, hands down, the greatest ISU dunk machine. Plus, I'd hate to have Burton's confidence shaken before the season even starts. :D
