We played them 7 yards deep and they got 5 every throw. They played tight on us and it showed we werent ready for the pressure.

It's not intramural football - you generally don't have a "just get open" play called. The guys have to run routes in order to be where the QB expects them to be and make the plays work. That said, they should be athletic enough to be able to run the designed routes and get separation.Agree. Seems like we run routes instead of trying to get open.

Blythe. Reynolds. Nobody in our WR corps has that go up and get it at the highest point ability like they did. Really wish we had a tall, athletic compliment to these gifted and shifty smaller guys.
Yep, and hopefully Q. West fully recovers as he is the same type of WR. Those 2 plus little West should give us more play making in the future. If you go back to the last game i believe Bundrage showed he is a go up and get it guy.
Lenz is also quite capable of that kind of play but has been hampered by the injury the middle part of this season.

Bundrage will be the best receiver for the next couple years imo. We need a couple more of him.
I like Horne but his drop was awful and he shouldn't play on offense rest of the season. Lenz was unfortunate and West had made a bunch of catches in a row which unfortunately on this team seems to mean you need to stone hands one.
Which games would those be?Not sure if serious....
Horne was the only reason we were in some early games. The guy does need to pull his head out of his *** though.
