That's everything though. There's nothing similar about a conference with teams like Ohio State, Michigan, USC, and Oregon leading the way vs. Texas Tech, TCU, BYU, and Arizona State. Come on. Wisconsin and Michigan State would be top brands in the Big 12.

Anyone else watch Josh Pate's interview with Matt by chance? Matt definitely throws JP under the bus in my opinion. Basically said one of the things he had to have at another school for him to go there was a place that would basically be progressive and creative in NIL.
Oh... and that the place he was going to had to have integrity..... Matt also mentioned how much he admired JoePa.... more

Not entirely sure that is even true. Iowa was not significantly worse than either IU or Oregon. IU beat Ohio State. The top of the big ten is kind of mushy. They look like World Beaters but some of that is illusory. Beating Purdue, Northwestern, UCLA, Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois etc. Is no higher of a bar than beating UCF, Okie St., KU, Baylor, Colorado, KSU, etc.
Ohio State vs. Indiana was a decent game, but 10-13 is not exactly action packed. Big Ten is better than the nearly unwatchable SEC, but I cant t think of any Big Ten game this season that was super interesting. When you can pretty much follow a full game by checking in once a quarter, your product is meh.
Campbell seems so awkward. That "we are" reminded me of Altmans "whoa pig" and Duuuuuvvvaaaalll from the jags coach.

Until the Sandusky scandal JoePa was on the same level as Bear Bryant of fan worship.
PSU just ignores the Sandusky part, growing up I'm not surprised at all that Campbell admired JoePa.
There is a gal on the internet that works for ESPN Katie Feeney proud PSU grad just graduated it wouldn't surprise me if she doesn't even know who Sandusky is.

Agree... just trying to find out more about who the real true Matt Campbell is. He just wanted out of here... has for a long time now... and is trying to "quietly" throw JP under the bus. That's all. He fooled a lot of people... when he's just a used car salesman like many of them are. Rogers is likely the same thing... but aren't we all somewhat? Don't all of us have a price? I would like to think I wouldn't say Penn State has integrity though.
If you are a recruit and he got you to sign on Wednesday but is interviewing to leave the next day, how do you trust the guy?
Campbell is never ever going to be a cheerleader, but holy cow they should not have had him say that so soon after leaving his home team of ten years. Give it a day or two!
Yeah I agree 90%. Difference is, our job wasn’t even a thought until Campbell got serious. Penn State was open for 2 months.

I don’t think there will be many of the Wednesday recruits that we have to worry about. Campbell will take 10 of our starters first.

UConn plays as an independent and will never, ever make a football playoff unless it joins a conference.
