PS4 - RPG Recommendations

For the gamers on here... looking for an RPG to sink my teeth into on PS4. Used to be very into fantasy RPG/MMORPG's on PC like Runscape, Guild Wars, Neverwinter Nights, etc. but haven't really gotten into one in years. I'm certainly a the grinder/completionist type in these games... at this stage, leaning towards something like Diablo III, The Witcher III, etc.

Any suggestions out there? What are your favorites?

Look into Divinity: Original Sin

I am playing through Witcher 3 right now. It is pretty fantastic. Probably my favorite open world game and you can get it cheap.

Pillars of Eternity 1&2 and Divinity Original Sin 1&2 are both good CRPG type games. I just got done with Final Fantasy 7 remake and that was awesome. Just started The Bards Tale 4 and never played this type of game but I am really enjoying it.

Pretty sure the stories are totally separate, 2 is the better game, you can tell they learned a lot so it just feels nicer to play.

Now I just want to play Neverwinter Nights.

Would you miss much if you skipped the first one?

No, as @3TrueFans said, you wouldn't miss much. Maybe you'd understand more of the background to the lore of it all, but they're set at different times, and there's only crossover in passing. The second one is definitely deeper and more polished.

Not sure what qualifies as an rpg but the last game I played was Terminator Resistance. Low budget but if you're a fan of the terminator franchise, you'll love it.

I really want a true Star Wars RPG where choices matter and you can be either a Sith or jedi
