How good is the Alabama basketball facilities? I know Hilton will have a renovation but how good is the Alabama arena or their practice facility?

Other than being in the South, I have a hard time believing 'bama is home for the guy. He's from Virginia, his wife is from Kentucky. People down there don't give a **** about basketball.

Dixon got the Tom Davis treatment at Pitt, and rather than let the idiots force him out for not getting far enough in the tourney he hopped to his alma mater. Hopefully Pollard is smart enough to at least make sure Steve knows he is appreciated here and willing to bump his compensation if need be

I hope Prohm stays for a long time, but if he leaves I think Darian DeVries needs to be a candidate.

No thanks. I think Prohm stays, but IF it happens I would be shocked and disappointed if we go after someone with that little success. TJ would be the first call.

Not sure I've seen anyone mention this so I will...

Avery Johnson's buyout is steep. $8 million. Not saying Alabama absolutely won't pull the trigger due to that, but it's certainly a factor that might make them hold on a little longer.

No kidding. Does bama care that much about basketball? No. Think of all of the latest version of blocking dummies they could buy with 8 million.

First and only call. TJ will take the job before the offer is finished.

SDSU is in an interesting place. They lose a historically great player, and I don’t know what they have coming back

The real question is - Would Prohm be up to recruiting in the South against guys like Pearl, Calipari, Cuonzo Martin, Frank Martin and whoever replaces Wade at LSU? In other words, how many NCAA violations is he willing to break to get recruits to go there and is he good enough at it to keep the NCAA at arms length while doing it?

TJ would be the only candidate I would be interested in. I want to see what he can do as a recruiter as the HC if a big time basketball program. I think it would be off the charts.

Prohm is due a raise... and I think JP will get it done. Even if ISU craps the bed in the 1st round, give Steve the raise.

On a side note: Time for Barta to Extend Mad Fran again....

He'll extend Mad Fran if the Michigan Hawkeyes get to the Final Four due to "beating them once and being right there."
