I'm guessing they reopen recruitment but hopefully let whoever the new coach is meet with them to make his pitch and resecure their commitment.
CSP having a stroke wished upon him after the Mississippi State debacle by a poster on here, even if written in jest, was absolutely disgusting and frankly didn't get the attention it deserved.
The poster who wrote that may be too young to remember, but Pete Taylor (RIP) died of complications from a stroke. IMO that was worth a temporary ban.
One thing I hope the next coach continues is how active Steve was in trying to get past players involved with the program
Tired of seeing Fred and TJ, Fred did what he was good at and now everyone does what he was good at. Nebraska looks like the dollar general version of our teams of Fred’s but they will never get the talent we had. Fred out. Have you guys watched TJ’s teams? Caleb Grill was his 3rd best player this season and they don’t really look like they’ll be any better in the future. Tj out. Let’s bring new blood into this program.
How soon before we can start talking ourselves into a Final Four contenders for next year?
How good was Hoiberg here? Self still is running some of what Fred used here and using more small ball.
Hoiball-lite with TJ won’t be as good, but an improvement from the last 6 years
Hopefully they hang on until the new coach is hired & lets them recruit them & then decided whether to ask out of LOI.
That West Virginia B12 title game was the loudest I’ve ever heard a basketball game outside of Hilton. And maybe the loudest I’ve ever heard.
Thanks Steve Prohm for those memories and representing Iowa State with class. But you have to perform in a high performance business.
I think TJ or Fred would have good shot at keeping Hunter with the assist from the Wisconsin boys.
