Nah they were back in Serie A when Krause bought it, back in 2015 they were down there though. It's also interesting that the purchase price for Parma in 2020 was just over 100 mil. Kinda crazy their yearly operating losses are almost equivalent to their purchase price.

I met with him a few times back when he started shopping his great soccer plans back pre 2005. He struck me then as a guy who had nothing to do with KnG being a successful business but just a rich dude with a soccer fetish and no idea how to pull it off realistically.
The site is such an eye sore... I wish they'd build everything else and wait on the soccer stadium, but I think K+ is holding off as a form of negotiating for more public money.

Honestly 100 mil for a traditional Serie A club seems like a bargain, but now it makes sense why lol.
