I talked to one last Saturday, who said he had to use up about 100 hours of personal time before May. They don't get, for example, two weeks of vaction or two weeks of sick leave. They get a bunch of hours they can use any way they want.

Yet they still have enough $$$ to construct a 88 story office building in NYC... It absolutely makes no sense to build something like this, when NYC has an commercial occupancy rate of 60% in manhattan alone...
This in not new news....it was in the 'news' a few weeks ago. They cut everyone's pay and put a lower cap on PTO hours. All in an effort NOT to lay more people off.

Rumors are rampant, yes. I know my boss is still being told to cut budget and he's struggling to do that without cutting people. Other areas may still lose people before this is over....and soon.
