Dembele hitting shots was the most Iowa State thing ever.
They should put me on their stupid podcast. I’m more than happy to put those Hok shills in their place.I mean it makes sense. Its not really a ISU podcast, however Hassell dogs on ISU more than CW dogs on Iowa.
Hassel as a heel only works if you have a competent good-guy lead. The show desperately needs a Blum typeEven people get tired of a heel's routine and the "heel" had to switch it up. Undertaker started off as a heel, Mick Foley started off as a heel. Steve Austin started off as a heel. Even when you are good guy people get tired of it. Hulk Hogan turned heel after being a baby face.
He certainly takes up some space in people's minds, which they allow to happen. Just unfollow the guy and stop listening to his content, lol. But he also talks about Iowa State all the time, and in the last year I'd say he's maybe talked about Iowa State more than Iowa. Iowa State is rattling his brain right now and I have a feeling it'll continue.I would say hassel also lives rent free in many cyclones’ heads due to the amount of posts of people complaining he’s too mean to us
CW has gotten soft with age and the growth of his businesses. He doesn't want to offend anyone.Hassel as a heel only works if you have a competent good-guy lead. The show desperately needs a Blum type
I think you're giving about 80% of their fanbase too much credit for thinking about something so "deep."Hassel, like many EIU fans are coming to the realization that for the first time in their adult life that the program they love, is now behind the program, that they hate more than anything. For years EIU fans have belittled ISU, never had a 10 win regular season, never did all the things that EIU was doing, and now that has ended. They all saw their MBB team play as well as they possible can, and still lose by 9, at home to the team they hate. They realize that Mad Fran and Freerents holds all the cards here, about leaving and a firing and buyout is not only going to be very costly, the athletic program does not have the money to do it, even if they wanted too. They throw out ideas that Mad Fran will go, walk away to coach his kid after this year and Freerents will do the right thing and retire. Getting EIU out of those contracts, neither is going to happen, but they see they are getting left behind, and if changes are not made, ISU for the first time in a long time, has a chance to really become the #1 team in the state, and that thought scares the hell out of them.
He's too classy for that. What is it that Walter's says about CuJo? "He's never had a bad day."I really wish CuJo would have planted the isu flag on the #22 logo. Or at least danced on it.
I see what you did there! FIFYthey can have the morale victory; we'll settle for the actual one.
I have an Iowa friend who calls him B-Rabbit. Pretty spot on. He has some Quad Cities river rat coming through.Brock Harding looks like a roadie for Eminen.
Gary Barta, the gift that keeps on giving with those contracts.Hassel, like many EIU fans are coming to the realization that for the first time in their adult life that the program they love, is now behind the program, that they hate more than anything. Anybody have a video clip of that where the guys is right up on him shooting the 3, and after canning it, he just looks at him and laughs?I love jones just absolutely ripping their hearts out. Especially for the two grown adults jawing at him earlier from courtside seats after he made a three from the save from Tamin at half court.
They might not think about it consciously. I do know a lot of central Iowa Hawkeye fans are not responding well to having to deal with so many Iowa State fans, and even worse, that the Iowa State fans are loud. It's just 40 years of karma coming around.I think you're giving about 80% of their fanbase too much credit for thinking about something so "deep."

Makes me think of the long haired blond guy in this scene from Good Will Hunting...“I was talking to the hottest girl at the bar all night, buying her drinks and dancing with her. At bar close, she went home with another guy!”
Auburn punished us on the offensive glass during their comeback, like we punished Iowa. This team has some grit to them. Some teams fold when their back is against the wall, not this team.
Auburn game was a complete collapse, but might be a pivotal piece to our success this year.

I was just trying to throw a little more salt in the open wound of the losers. You didn’t fix anything - what do you think a “statistical” victory is? One that’s reflected on the standings.
