Anyone else getting a lot of popups on this site?

The popups have become a significant issue again (11/23/25). I'm getting really frustrated with this site.

Yes! Almost unusable on mobile right now. I keep getting large pop ups when trying to type a post. They cover the entire reply text box. Have to close them several times just to make one post.

Totally agree. I'm fighting 2 different pop-ups, one in the lower left corner and another in the lower middle. It's like they tag team, first one pops up, close it, and the other pops up. They're big enough that they block out significant viewing.

Edit: and now there's a third. There seems to be a Target add (in light blue) that actually takes over and frames the CF page for about 5 seconds. This isn't just annoying, it's ridiculous.

TOTALLY AGREE!!!! They keep coming and coming. They take all the enjoyment out of this site - resulting in me logging on a LOT LESS.

I started getting some weird one today that sucks in all the borders at once for a few seconds and blocks the edges of the post so you can’t read it. Target I think.

I’ve been getting some variant of that one for the last week, along with popups that block the text box to reply as well as the reply button itself.

I get they need to make money, but it’s inhibiting the functionality of the website at this point.

the mobile version of this site is basically unusable and I have an apple 14 plus that has a huge screen and half of it is covered in ads like a lot of sites these days.

This On Star app (especially when teamed with the smaller Acura one) is brutal. Unlike, the Acura one, I have no way to close out of On Star one. It's made the site unusable again. It takes up 75% or more of the screen.

I could barely post this reply while having to switch horizontal/vertical views and extreme zooming in and out to find the buttons.

I’m getting a full page uber ad every time I go to a new page on the mobile site, and even though it has an x in the upper right corner it is unresponsive/very difficult to close out of

So now I'm dealing with an Uber ad, on top of a Norton ad, on top of a McAfee ad. This site just keeps getting worse.
