I can see ISU keeping it closer than that because of their time off not only because of rust but they might have to use more bench minutes because of all that time off the guys won't be in top game shape. Also wonder if they have anybody out or they are all recovered?

I am not a pro oddsmaker by any means, but I set the line closer to Baylor -16.5. I think there will be some rust following their covid layoff. I will look to get an in-game bet in here I think, as I think our guys do their typical compete for 20-25 minutes before the wheels come off.

I can see a 10 point game for most of it. The question will be just how hard Baylor wants to push once the wheels come off int he last 5 minutes.

Last time we played them, we hit 40% of our threes and they hit 21%. We also kept their rebounding advantage to 4. If Baylor comes out rusty and not taking us seriously, I could see us keeping it closer than we expect. Conditt playing hard without stupid fouls would go a loooong way in this one.

Conditt has been great down the stretch. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually hope he comes back next year.

My guess is they will want to go hard. This is their warm up before a top 10 matchup and they should be well rested. Only way they dont go hard the 2nd half is if they come out firing on all cylinders and ease up in the 2nd. If they are rusty in the 1st and shake off the rust in the 2nd they will crush us.

My guy says take ISU, but I have no faith in taking it. I’ll wait for the game to start before betting. I have no confidence in that line.

I locked them in +23.5 on Fan Duel. Best case scenario, I am happy with any loss within 23. Worst case scenario, it's a very dark evening for Cyclone basketball and I'm out $10.

I would think Baylor will be rusty and will play the scrubs once it is out of hand, so it's <20 point final.

That said, I have made 4 or 5 predictions this year and been wrong like every time. Good thing I never signed up for any of the betting apps lol.

That's a lot of points. Baylor is so good and we are so bad that I wouldn't touch that line with a 10 foot pole either way.
