A convincing cover last week with 69% of voters on the winning side. Conference play majority vote record against the spread:

2024 YTD: 2-1
2023: 4-5
2022: 2-6-1

I don't like the 13.5, reason being WVU as exhibit A. We could be dominating and going up by 2 TD would be dominating given how the teams play.

Given our health issues they put in the back ups to the back ups on defense and concede a meaningless TD or FG late that goes under the line.

WVU was Exhibit A…except that was on the road, against a crowd that was literally everything they could throw at us, including the kitchen sink in their “Coal Rush” blackout.

Total reverse scenario.

Do we even have backups at this point?

Reminds me of a time in a game. We are getting killed. I'm a bench warmer. No playing time all year.

Coach comes to me and says "Bosco, get up!"

I jump up, strap on helmet and yell "I'm ready coach, where do you need me!?"

He says, " I need you get up so I can I throw in the bench."

I’m with Bosco- we’re up 17 to 20 points late in the game and they manage a cheap touchdown during garbage time to pull it under.

Had planned on betting good guys to cover, but have reversed and taking UCF and points. I think they’ll manage at least 14 points and I don’t see us scoring over 30. Tough game to bet on.

I see a late garbage time TD for UCF to squeeze out a cover.
Some of you guys need to go back and look at the CU/UCF game…which was not in Colorado.

The only way they’re getting a late touchdown is if all the fourth stringers are in, not just the linebackers.

I wasn’t focusing so much on what happened with CU/UCF….i was speaking more about our defense.

Both Arkansas St and WVU scored late touchdowns against our D when the game was out of reach. I think if the game is in hand, a late score is a strong possibility. Offenses tend to take more risks in those scenarios and sometimes that translates into a late score by an offense with nothing to lose.

This has the potential to be higher scoring if their one-sided offense and mobile QB attack where we have so many injuries. On the flip side, both teams like to limit the # of possessions so it may be a fast moving, low scoring game.

This has the potential to be high scoring because their pass protection and pass defense both suck.

No contribution by UCF’s offense to the scoreboard necessary.
