My iPhone seems to be working better than my iPad. Can hardly read anymore without site crashing.
I just got caught up on this thread. I read it from 01 JAN to today. In all of that time there wasn't a single response from the site operator as to what is being done.
@ChrisMWilliams are you or one of your helpful minions going to update your users? It has been over 4 weeks.
I regularly get the ad the covers the entire background of the page. I can read the posts but if I try to rate a post it only allows a like, it won't show the drop down to select other ratings. I also can't respond, quote or take any other action.
The only way to get out of it is to go to another page and there is about a 1 in 3 chance that that page will have another ad behind everything preventing interaction.
This is on my laptop running Chrome. I am in dark mode.

This site sucks, plain and simple. 2010-era web page coding problems. It is not enjoyable to come here at all, if there were alternate sites, I’d be there.
This ain't an airport... no need to announce your departure.
Then you should go through everyone complaining about issues and say the same. What they said is accurate for a lot of people here pointing out issues.
CW is too busy being a YouTube "celeb;" making videos with over 10 minutes of ad time. He just needs to turn this over to someone who has time/desire to make this site work properly.

Your complaints are not unheard. I had two hours of meetings with our new ad team working on things last week. Unfortunately, this is not my area of expertise and I am very reliant upon others to make the proper changes that we need to see happen. At least in terms of my own user experience on the site, it's a lot better now than it was a month ago. We need to keep tweaking to get back to where it needs to be.
The reality is that without making a switch to a new ad vendor last November, we're probably looking at having to lay staff off or cut back on the content we provide for free to Iowa State fans.
Independent media in 2026 is very, very hard. We're doing our best, but will always try to do better.
The idea that I'm not working on CF is insanity. This site has probably taken 80-90 percent of my time since early December. Just because you can't see me doesn't mean I'm not constantly grinding to keep the lights on and this site moving forward via its independent nature.
If you want, you can pay 11.99 a month to get no ads and be a premium subscriber.

Please delegate someone from your ad team or someone else in your organization to give us occasional updates. Once a week or once every couple of weeks until the worst of the problems are resolved wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?
I had to change my password and completely restart my computer, but I'm back in business. Still weird.
Thinking that is something on your end and not ad related. Honestly not sure. Nothing ad related should have done that. Let me know if it does it again.
I've been having the same problem. Realized this morning that I can use "Reply," but is it then only seen by who I reply to?
On mobile, has there been a site change or did I accidentally change a setting? Clicking the "Forums" tab in the upper left menu used to take me to a list of the most recent posts and clicking a link would take me back where I had left off. I really appreciated that feature and not missing any new posts or having to remember what page I was last on. Since the start of the weekend, it now includes a kind of preview window and clicking a link always takes me to the beginning of the thread. No one else has mentioned it so it's possible it's just me.
