I haven't figured this out, but is it true that we beat St. Johns, we never lost to anyone, but we end up below St. Johns in the final standings? This would be like the CFP then. Oh, you're the obviously better team, but we need these other teams ahead of you anyway.

After the Houston game today they showed some graphic about the best freshman in the tournament. Some guy from Tennesse, Kansas, and Houston, but couldn't even fit Toure on the screen for averaging a pathetic 15 points a game in the 3 days.

That'd be cool.

To follow the framework of the tournament, it'd be based solely on points scored. No other stats matter, and regardless of strength of opponent.

Side note: I haven't checked if maybe ISU has a couple of players that might "benefit" compared to other teams' players.

After watching Tamin, Toure, and Buchanan this season, I'm thinking TJ needs to require everyone else on the team to also wear headbands. That would look bitchin!!

• Jefferson's headband: Xanax
• Buchanan's headband: Windex

Would be interesting to see the tournament win/loss records by conference. Assuming Baylor can maintain their halftime lead, I believe the Big 12's record will be 10-2. Not too shabby!

Michigan might be worthy of #1 ranking in the next cycle.

I don't know if it'll happen, and I was about to say Gonzaga got "exposed" for being overrated, but GU's schedule so far has been high-end and crushed a bunch of decent teams and beat several other ranked or projected NCAAT teams.
