Players Era

I used to chat with TJs dad quite often via email and text. Their entire family was sure TJ was going to replace Hoiberg and were basically told as such until Pollard was told by the pres that the hire had to be someone with HC experience. As great as we have it now, I'm pretty glad that TJ got his feet wet at SDSU and UNLV before coming home. Not saying he wouldn't have been a great hire then, but you just never know, and things have worked out incredibly well so far.
TJ following Hoiberg would have been like John Adams succeeding Washington as the 2nd President- it probably wouldn’t have worked ultimately and he would never have gotten out from under Hoiberg’s shadow.

Auburn needs to beat Michigan by 7 or less. Gonzaga needs to win by less than 8 or Maryland less than 11. Iowa Stae falls out if the above doesn't happen

So confusing

So we play Kansas 2x in conf play, we could play them in the Big XII tourney and tomorrow.

I mean, Christmas is coming- beating the Boobirds 4x in one season - is that too much to ask?! Dare I push it and ask to meat them in the big dance as well? Excuse me, I have to go take care of something...

I am glad for the 2 great wins we had, but this format is HORRIBLE and intentionally so.

If we aren't in the top 4, I'd rather play someone from a power conference who is mediocre so we can stay healthy.

I can't follow it but I'm getting 'weight it so the 'names' play one another' vibes.

Like when the B1G had Leaders and Legends with a bunch of jumbled teams so long as UM/tOSU met at the end of the season.

Is meating a team mean you are bending them over?

And we could play them in the NCAA tourney.

Michigan is gonna roll. So will Zags. That means the top four will be:
  • Gonzaga
  • Michigan
  • Tennessee
  • Kansas
Iowa State the lone 2-0 team not in the 1 v 2 or 3 v 4 games. I doubt they would put two league teams against each other especially in non 1/2 or 3/4 games, so ISU wouldn't play Houston. I'm guessing we play Auburn or Maryland.

I also don't know how any of this works.

I’m confused. Are we guaranteed a 3rd game? If St. John’s doesn’t hit that meaningless layup would we be in the championship game?
