Everything I'm reading online suggests that the pods do matter. I think the complete re-ranking is for those 14 that don't make the champsionship or 3rd place game.

If that’s the case, it seems we’re likely in the 3rd place game against Tennessee, Gonzaga, or Houston. Baylor would have to beat SJU by double digits and Auburn plays Michigan so there will only be one 2-0 team there. I guess if Auburn beats Michigan we could sneak into the championship game, but that seems like a long shot.

Edit: what this does mean is that Kansas would be the 2-0 team left out. And that makes me happy.

I believe NBA does even splits for payoff checks. I wonder if college teams will do the same.

Maybe it's already been mentioned in this thread but I would think the NCAA should be paying close attention to this. The NCAA tournament is their cash cow and if this Players Era works out what is to stop some entity other than the NCAA from creating their own post season tournament with big money payouts to the participants.

Bingo, that's why the teams have to get way more of the next NCAA tournament contract. Total joke how much they are keeping.

Its going to be tough to make the top 4. We pretty much got screwed with our draw. If we played ND and Syracuse we probably would have maxed out our point differential. ******* KU.

I’m a fan. I don’t get the money, so I couldn’t care less. I’d rather have that win over St. John’s versus wins over Syracuse and ND come March
