Pitt 2/9

It looked to me like Herrera was really working for a reversal in the 3rd. Thought he had a couple chances to potentially get an escape. He certainly has a bright future. 84 & 97 looked like career backups to me. Every time I watch the Frost brothers, I like them more.

He was whining to his parents in the stands after the match, claiming PJ was doing something illegal to his neck. From the gestures, I think it was a finger/thumb dig into the neck during the front headlock.
Ya, well he was clamping down on PJ'S elbow, holding PJ in close and not doing a thing with it...so he can keep whining

They were sitting right in front of us. Before the match they kept saying how good PJ is, then after the match kept saying how PJ kept putting hands to the face. After talking with them, the parents said they have an 11th grader who is a better wrestler than Kade, he was offered a full ride to Iowa but turned it down to wrestle at Pitt with his brother. They seemed to be a good family. The dad went to the same school as Carr, and the kids wrestled at the rival school as Carr. David came up and talked to them during the dual

They were sitting in the section next to me. They had better reserved seats than I did!!! They didn't seem to cause any problems. I did see Kade come up and talk to them. Also saw David Carr talk to them for awhile.
That kid was good, but I think PJ could of scored on him earlier if he would of opened up.

kid's gonna be good....

Chappell?

The past 2 months alone, he has a loss to Perryman, majored by Kurt Phipps, tech’d by Kai Orine.

Should be bonus.

Can’t argue with 125 or 197. I think 197 gives up a major, and 125 does as well. Perryman just looks small out there.
No, Chappell is the back up, Santaniello is the starter, who did not wrestler. BUT it was his brother that was committed to OU not Vinnie.

could say this about most of PJ's opponents and matches.

We’re on the same page.

I was expecting Chappell and you were expecting Santaniello.

Bonus would have been much tougher against Vinnie.
