Pick the winner Baylor vs. ISU

Just going to point this out but Baylor has never been a good team, so when you get a decent quarterback in your eyes he is amazing.(I've seen him play too, he's not all that and a bag of chips) Yes he will probably become a great quarterback when is Junior/Senior but not now. Besides we just played Todd Reesing, one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, and shut him down for the first half. If we play like we did against Kansas in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th quaters there is going to be a major beatdown.

You must be young. I remember Baylor having a powerhouse top 20 team in the past, but it was quite a long time ago. They will get it going again sometime, but it's going to take a lot of work and it probably doesn't help that Tech has really stepped it up to the next level. A&M's downfall would have left an opening, but Tech filled that gap.

Ya too young to for that and where are all these one post Baylor fans popping up from? I don't mind but they seem to be joining by the masses.

We're kind of like fungus...we just kind of appear and spoil everything.

Umm, with all due respect, he is all that and a bag of chips haha. Most bigger teams just can't stand it because they messed up and only offered him as a WR or safety. The FSN crew (for all that counts for) said that he'd be a Heisman candidate by next year and I read some writer (sorry, the name slips me...maybe someone can find it?) that said he was the best freshman QB in the country. He's been more productive than Pryor, I know that much. The only reason people say that he's not "all that and a bag of chips" (we've heard that from every team we've played) is that he plays for Baylor. He'll eventually be a 1st round draft pick and probably be the 2nd greatest player Baylor has ever seen, next to only Mike Singletary. You can say what you will, but you'll find out on Saturday. Again, not meaning to be a jerk...Just throwing my $.02 in there.

I think we put up at least 35 and AROB goes for over 100 on the ground. With their formations on D, all we have to do is get past the line and theres only 1 guy to beat. And yes say what you will about our O-Line, but be pleasantly surprised come saturday. (Yes I will take AROB one on one anyday.

that one guy you have to beat leads the conference in tackles.

It is going to be a clinic on offense......lots of scoring for both teams. Whoever decides to play a break out game on the defensive side of the ball will win. You saw a good offense last week at KU. We saw a OU offense that was as good as I have ever seen out of the Land Theives. Therefore, our defenses shoud be ready to battle. That being said.....with my green and gold glasses on.......i say 42 to 38 BU wins. We hold you to a field goal in the 4th.......

Now I know why we lost last week.....it was one of those "look past the sooners to warm up for ISU......lol

and A-Rob is a very good back when fully healthy, he has been injured this season somewhat. that being said, a-rob will do his normal game of about 10 carries 50 yards but AA is going to go off. we have a ton of weapons offensively with Sedrick Johnson, RJ Sumrall, Marquis Hamilton, Houston Jones, and Darius Darks all legit widerecievers and most have very good size.

there will be tons of points, but im not sold on griffin being a good passer at all so expect the clones to throw 8-9 in the box. i have no doubts that LJ, Devin McDowell, Ter'ran Bentan, and Singleton can handle your recievers 1-on-1

yess and we had the exact same guy in Bowen... still dosnt mean we shut down every rb

It's kinda funny that two years ago we had two top ten tacklers in the NATION and we were worst team in the Big 12.

well if there lb is the leading tackler then if its anything like we were, there line is <cough> not so great...

Baylor produced 7 players that were on the original Tecmo Bowl roster(according to a massive Tb site). I searched the list and only found 5 though...i'll have to look again. Anyways Thats the 3rd most behind USC-10, and Cal-9. Purdue also had 7.
The site/page link is... Tecmo Player Draft Info

Those players include kick return gods, Dennis Gentry, and Gerald McNeil. And some linebacker named Mike singletary. Ron francis-safety/dallas, and kieth Bishop-OL/denver.

missing 2 and it is bothering me.

Lee(?) O-lineman for Miami, and Van McElroy DB/LA Raiders.

definetely impressive in terms of tecmo bowl performers there with the big 3 they produced. Iowa state has no representatives on TB however.

Not really but it does hurt. Now we can't run AA as much, but that's not a bad thing. I think we do better when passing. Kansas had problems stopping the five yard passes. So I'm still predicting a win.

Keith Bishop was an absolute beast. He played for the Broncos forever. He was originally at Nebraska, but he got in a fight with a Neb. coach and decked him. Needless to say they didn't like that and he came to Baylor his sophmore year as I recall.
