In all fairness to Gunner, I was the one who asked the original question. A few turkey and KXNO polls later (which, in all honesty, might be the same thing), I deeply regret it.

Well it still is a fact 75% think Park should start. Regardless of how valid you think the poll is.

It might be a fact, but that doesn't mean the poll is relevant! It could have been that 80% of the people taking the poll were Hawk fans and the other 20% Parks relatives.

IMO Lanning should start, but Park should play the 2nd quarter unless Lanning is hot.

I'm not saying take it as gospel or that they know better than the coaches but is there a possibility that there's mind games being played?

How would it benefit the coaches to play mind games with Lanning & Park.

Maybe they see practice everyday, maybe they are being loyal to Lanning, maybe Park is still limited in his knowledge of the playbook. IMO to push Lanning aside is a knee jerk reaction.

IMO Campbell is going to do what is best for the program long-term. It could be Park starts tomorrow, but more likely he will get an opportunity to play in the first half.
