I've heard of him but I was surprised to see him that high on the list. I know he took over a program that was pretty bad and he's made it very respectable, but I don't know. His resume at Utah looks a little Fran-ish...two NCAA tourney appearances and three NIT appearances in seven seasons.
I think he's very well respected as a coach in NBA circles.

I'm sure he is as a former player and coach at that level. But that doesn't explain why Utah is paying him that much just to occasionally make the tourney.
Yeah, the performance isn’t quite there, especially since he’s had 3 first rounders in Poettl, Kuzma, and Delon Wright.
The standards are different at places like Texas and Ohio State than Utah and Oregon State, methinks.Yeah, it's not a terrible run but top ten is out of whack with what he's achieved. Put it this way - two NCAA appearances and three NIT bids in seven years is good enough to get you fired from a lot of P5 jobs.

I think Few just really likes being in Spokane. Just one of those guys that would rather hunt and fish than be highly paid and in the spotlight.
Fran at 37th. Lol.
But has he coached them to a national championship game like Fran has done at Iowa?!!??!I've heard of him but I was surprised to see him that high on the list. Roy Williams seems significantly underpaid. Granted he is probably making it up somewhere else. But his success over the last Decade plus at UNC would seem to merit a higher salary.

Gregg Marshall at $3 mil+/yr to coach at Wichita State is the reason he can turn down jobs left and right. A lot of money and a lot easier to have a top team in a lower league than a high-end P5 job
