Krystkowiak is more familiar as role-player in NBA (about 9 seasons) than a coach — kinda Hoibergish in that regard. I'm surprised to see him that high on the salary list.
Utah had a mostly "nothing" period after Majerus era, I supposed Utah decided to make an outside-the-box hire once it joined Pac-12. ... Utah hasn't done that badly under LK, 3 NITs, two NCAA bids and a Sweet 16. His first two seasons at UU were duds.
Yeah, the performance isn’t quite there, especially since he’s had 3 first rounders in Poettl, Kuzma, and Delon Wright.
Roy Williams seems significantly underpaid. Granted he is probably making it up somewhere else. But his success over the last Decade plus at UNC would seem to merit a higher salary.
The standards are different at places like Texas and Ohio State than Utah and Oregon State, methinks.
Yeah how does he live on just under $2 mil a year? Honestly does it really matter if a coach makes $2 million or $6 million? Being in a good situation and living where you want is worth more than having more money once you reach these ludicrous levels.

But has he coached them to a national championship game like Fran has done at Iowa?!!??!
I'm surprised Williams is that far down the list, too. His max bonus is good, but isn't even the highest in that list and his buyout is meager compared to some other coaches. Like you said, maybe it's augmented elsewhere, not sure what other things he does outside of HC realm.
It isn't only success in past decade, longevity and results over career. He's been head coach for 30 seasons and never missed the postseason. And only one of those was NIT. Granted, it can't hurt to coach at KU and UNC, but still ...
He is in the AAC now, which isn't a P5 league, but it is higher than MVC. Although maybe he should have stayed now that there is another powerhouse in the league, Loyola.
