True. I imagine you have to keep someone just to function for the last few days of the season. Looks like the OC hasn't been a head coach. That probably made it easy.

My exact thoughts.....someone like Paul at least has experience of running a program....probably not for long, but enough to maintain some of the program needs.

But he’s just named the interim coach until they find a new one in a few weeks. He filled the same role at Arkansas.

It really doesn't, because ISU only scored 9 points -- and those were off of the first 2 turnovers. 0 points off the last 6 turnovers -- 4 punts, missed FG, end of game.
