I apparently shocked my husband here yesterday by using the "useful" reaction on a post of his to passive-aggressively call him a tool. I honestly can't think of more than a half-dozen times I've used that earnestly.

Am I alone in using reactions to be P/A? What other ones do you use? (Obviously the "dumb" one is just straight-aggressive.)

"funny" when a post is so stupid you just laugh at it and don't take it seriously.

I use the friendly when someone is blindly just bashing something....it's basically my way of saying "Besides that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?"

I use that one a lot, too. But also when something is legitimately funny. It's sort of a mixed signal that I am fine sending.

I use:
like for "that's nice"
agree is "yeah, okay, I can go along with that"
winner is more "hell yeah, you killed it"
friendly is either "I really love that post" *or* (in response to a sad post) "gee, I'm sorry about that"
disagree & dislike don't get much use from me because I prefer to be more specific with my disagreement
creative goes back to my Southern roots "well, isn't that special?" (EDIT FOR @LindenCy - sometimes, creative means exactly that - a very creative post!)
optimistic & informative are pretty straightforward, as is dumb
useful
is ALWAYS me calling someone a tool

Side note - we need a sad reaction and a vomit reaction. :D

ALSO EDIT: I'm beginning to regret explaining myself. Regarding my apparently confusing deviations from my list of definitions above, I refer you back to @Angie 's comment upthread -
It's sort of a mixed signal that I am fine sending. :p

I use "disagree" as my most negative rating. It is one of only two neutral ratings available.

(can you guess the other?)

I also like "creative" to tell someone that their comment is a flat out turd.

I rarely use disagree or dislike. I'd much rather tell you why I think your post is donkey ****.
