Parking selection?

I went down there the other day trying to find a new road and I just didn't see one. I see the one shown on the map in post 57 here. Where am I missing it?
It's not there.... yet. I'm told they will cut it in soon.

I’ve always been curious if C1 or C2 fills up first on gameday since they are shared. I’d guess C2 as it’s closer to the stadium, has an high percentage of spots with grass area, and I had less overall spaces but C1 provides quick access to Lincoln Way (eastbound) after the game.
That's right, C2 fills up first, plus this is typically where more of the tailgaters set up.

We parked in C1 for the past few years. I have young kids so we'd show up like 45 minutes before kickoff and just head into the game. Like you said, being able to jump right on Lincoln Way after the game was really nice too.

Other than 1 time, we never had an issue finding a spot to park in C1, even that close to game time.. There were always many open spots.
The 1 time was last season, and there was a band event or something going on in Hilton, so tons of parents had parked in C1, I'm guessing without a parking pass, so that was really annoying.

The new road isn't there yet, but it will be before the season begins. Right now there's a road that runs north/south on the west side of CY Stephens. This road will continue south through the Center St intersection and curve eastward into the NW corner of lot A3.

Thanks, I think I'd seen a tentative drawing/map of that and wondered at the time how that would work. There's not much space there for a road. Unless, like with B1, a whole host of trees will be removed and ground moved to provide that.

Maybe another bridge, elevated walk ways everywhere.

I'm also gold, no email (both normal and junk checked). However, when I pull up the Cyclone app, there is the timer, saying my parking selection begins in 1 day and 5 hours....so Friday at noon. Not sure why I didn't get an email, but at least the app has the selection option.
Called this morning, they confirmed that the timer is correct and let me know our time. They shared that others mentioned not getting the email. Selec my spot tomorrow morning.

I'm gold and my time is June 20 at 11:30. I stopped by the parking lots yesterday and there are gonna be some pretty significant changes for this season.

  • A new entrance/exit road has been added to the NW corner of A3.
  • A3 is now one big lot instead of two separate lots.
  • The smaller B3 and C3 lots that ran along the south side of Center Dr are now completely gone.
  • Looks like the capacity for lot A5 has been cut by a third or so.
  • Capacity for lots B3 and C3 have been cut significantly.
  • Lot B4 has been added.
Seems like the tunnels going to Hilton have been taken out and it will be a more open walk to Hilton.

The market will tell us soon.

They have to allow lower donors to take spots higher than them don’t they? If a bunch of gold donors take C1 then that may leave C3 spots open and Cardinal donors without anything.

The "requirements" shown on the map are labelled as estimated. A States ($300) level donor can choose any lot general parking lot as long as there is availability at their time of selection. I'd guess that they include those estimates on the parking map to encourage donors to bump up to the next level if they know they want a specific lot so they can choose earlier.

Just picked up a D4 slot...same as last year. Friends are in D5 and typically set up near the road. Makes for an easy transfer of beverages and assorted pork/beef/chicken products.

If it wasn't for the rain conditions, I think the public lot just south of the stadium would be the best place for a reserved donor lot. Grass everywhere and extremely close to stadium.

I was busy at work and completely forgot my selection time this morning at 9:15, remembered around 13:30, and quickly logged on to pick. Back in "new" C3, we were old C4 for 8-10 seasons. It will be interesting to see that reconfigured (again), as it was all torn up in the spring. Many comments were made last year about the shoddy job they did on that resurface, guess I'd missed that it was temporary. The map makes it look like the ditch between the halves of C3 will be gone?
