Our Jack Trice stadium

The mass exodus at halftime is completely and utterly embarrassing. This was ok before the McCarney days, now it needs to away faster than Sweet Caroline. Either bring booze in with you or fight like heck to get it served at the stadium.

There was a cyclone power chant during a review maybe, I don’t remember, but it was the best chant I have ever heard in that stadium. There was no background noise, it was deafening, and it lasted for a good minute to minute and a half. I love JTS.

I usually jump right in on the "Cyclone Power" chant, but yesterday I just leaned back with a ****-eating grin and soaked in the sound of 50-some thousand of my best friends celebrating the moment they've deserved for so long. It was awesome!

Is there even a blueprint possible that can integrate an NEZ with the Jake and the Colossus of Rhoads?
What an odd building to have in the endzone, for sure.

I don’t think integration would be needed to improve it. A modified version of what we used to have in the SEZ would be improvement.

I know a ton of people dislike the Sweet Caroline song because it is cheesy and overused in sports at other stadiums, but I can attest that I have never heard/seen it as loud on tv at any other stadium I have seen. It was really crazy to watch on tv was just awesome. Loved when, I think, Murdock was instructing the band. I've never seen any celebration like that on tv before. Plus the Cyclone Power chant during the review was incredible. GO CYCLONES!!!!!

I have actually heard of a blue print that integrates the building. I think there is a possible upper deck that is supported by the building that goes above the Jacobson deck behind the FG net. I can't remember where I heard that though, so it could easily be folklore too.

I thought the best part was many of the players were leading the chant as well. Very cool!

It's not so much about hating the song (it sux) as it is the TIMING of when it has been played in the past: clinging to a lead headed into the fourth quarter. "Good times?" A bit presumptuous. Glad they waited until AFTER this time. That should be the tradition moving forward.

The NEZ should mirror the SEZ minus the club section plus a complete upper deck. Put the band right behind the goalposts and surround them with the student section.

Replace the sideline bleachers with actual seats. Color code one side to say "ISU." Newer bigger luxury/press box for additional suites. Capacity would grow to approximately 75,000.

This is my dream.

Win the Big 12 and get another $50 million kick off donation and it will happen. Anyone got any billionaires on speed dial?

Amazing crowd, I don't think I've ever heard the "let's go state" chant so loud at a football game. Can't wait for the game against Okie state. That will probably be the biggest game ever at Jack trice.
Long time ago, before they started to pipe in rock music during time outs, the student section had cheers. Miss it.
