Wow, low blow by the student section. Someone had a sign up telling Drake that D-II had some openings. I'd have to agree with the announcers, Drake has had a season very worthy of D-1. Simply classless.
I think it's funny...nothing wrong with a little ribbing. Obviously Drake had a pretty decent year.
I assume one of you left me the negative rep for not liking UNI so I'll explain myself. I went to the last couple games we played at UNI and was less than impressed by their fans and particularly their students. I've always not been fond of their fanbase for its constant jumping on/off the Hawkeye bandwagon and my personal experiences cemented my dislike of them. I assume you guys are cheering for Iowa since they are a state brother and beat us as well? Hey, I don't care if you guys want them to win, cheer for 'em all you want.
I don't care if you don't like UNI and it wasn't me who left you the negative rep. I was just wondering what your reasons were. I found out and understand. I went to the UNI v. Illinois St game last Saturday and sat in the student section. Their fans don't seem any different to me than most fans but I do get your point on how they jump on/off the hawks bandwagon
No problem...we all have different teams we like/dislike, just part of being a sports fan.
WOW! WHAT A SHOT! Bradley hit a very guarded three after the guy lost the ball and got it back. Probably about 2.5 left.
