Opinions on that INT

Yep... Marchie's hand CLEARLY underneath Green's hand. And as I said before, I believe Green's hand that is on top of Marchie's even comes off when they hit the ground.

This wasn't the worst travesty of officiating though that cost us the game. The two PI's calls on OSU's 2 pt conversion were extremely ticky tacky, and uncatchable balls too.... and then the no call on the other end with the OSU defender holding Lazard down so he couldn't even jump... now that was downright getting jobbed.

It was so bad, that you wonder if the Big 12 really wanted the 2 loss higher ranked team to beat the 3 loss lower ranked team? The last thing the Big 12 probably wants is ISU to be in their Big 12 Championship game. They would fear the lower TV ratings.
It’s either that or the officials are dumber than Donald Trump. I give them the benefit of the doubt that they just don’t care about fair competition because I think incompetence is worse.

The Oklahoma State players "sold" it better, and with the incompetent refs...it was no surprise they got it wrong.

This has more to do with natural biases than a Big 12 conspiracy. You're giving these idiots way too much credit. What the refs do know is that Oklahoma State has a really good offense and good receivers and surely little Iowa State can't defend them one on one without holding. When it goes the other way, that's just good, physical defense in their eyes.

What the rule on dual possession? Do both players need to have both hands on the ball or if one guy has 1 hand and the other guy has 2, does the guy with 2 win?
Either way, with all the camera angles, I'm still waiting for just 1 picture of the OSU player in complete possession of that ball. Everything I have seen has shown at least some type of dual possession.

Ben Bruns correctly identified it as "dual" possession down on the sideline when it happened. How the refs missed it is ******* unreal.

Call was bad, but so was the no call against Lazard, and the spot on Montgomery's reception should have been placed at the 2 instead of the 4, but other than that the officials were pretty good in the last minute of the game.

Basically the officials wanted to go home and the game not go into overtime.

I guess I was looking for what the actual rule states.
This is what I found:

If the situations were reversed, our DB made that play and it was ruled a TD for the offense, you'd all be going insane right now. Even more than you already are.
Not really, because they would have reviewed it and "confirmed" that it was an interception.

I sit five rows down from the replay booth. The guys up there were visibly laughing after the announcement was made by the official and boos rained down. Big 12 officiating is a complete joke

Nah, not with the known rule that dual possession goes to the passing team. Video seems pretty clear that the DB did not possess the ball first.

DB's left hand was moving the whole time there as well, yet I keep seeing **** about "two hands > one" which I don't believe anyways. Absolutely no idea how people see this as an interception unless they don't know the rules or see the world through orange and black lenses.

The fact that Murdock makes first contact and pins it on the defender matters. We usually see receivers pin it on the back of the defender, which is the same exact thing. Just because the ball is pinned on the defender's chest doesn't mean he has any more control than if it were pinned on his back. The defender then gets his right hand underneath, which looks like simultaneous possession. Murdock's hand is on the ball throughout, and the defender's left hand tries to grab the ball. He grabs Murdock's arm, gets his fingers on the ball, and then loses grip because Murdock has inside position. Murdock never loses control of the original pin. If anything, it was a good play by the defender to get his right hand underneath to not make it a clear TD for Murdock. Regardless, it was simultaneous possession, and should have been called for the offense.

Sorry, just had to get that out after watching it 100+ times.
