One-Hit Wonders

Another 90s gem. Maybe not high enough on the charts but by far their most recognized song.

The Rentals - "Friends of P."
 
Another one.

Not that this is a great song but it just reminds me of how many good songs from the 90's ended up being from one hit wonders.

This also makes me start to feel old as I have now reached the age in my life when I think to myself today's music isn't nearly as good as when I was a kid.

Alley Oop was written by Dallas Frazier,the same man who wrote "Elvira" by the Oak Ridge Boys.

It was Spacehog's "In the Meantime." They are actually really nice guys, I met them briefly.
 
This one may have already been mentioned but I am not digging back through to find out.

These guys had some other songs but nothing came close to how popular Bound To The Floor was.

IMO it was only about the 4th or 5th best song on As Good as Dead.
