I'm very encouraged by the way our defense handled KU's quarterback. That guy scared me to death. Martinez is obviously more experienced. Need a great bounce back from our offense.
I think that's it! Some people don't realize losing back #1 and back#2 hurt ISU a ton. If one or both are back I feel pretty good about our chances. If neither are back I don't see ISU winning.
This would be a great week for Martinez to get back to his turnover prone self.
D needs to force a couple turnovers I think to spark the team. The offense needs help in that regard.
If we have no run game I of course feel we are screwed. The kansas D line are not world beaters, which made last week confusing.
It seems KSU ALWAYS gets a kick return/punt return for a TD...or score on their first play.....sound like a broken record ....team that doesn't screw up wins...we've screwed up...and almost won the last two games....let's play a clean game and give ourselves a fair shot! No spotting points!
If not more practice reps with the other guys might be helpful too.

v worried about our o-line against Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Khalid Duke
I was plotting a way Iowa state could still get to Dallas last night even though it's an insane thought. Realistically it's going to be Oklahoma state and probably either Baylor or TCU. Maybe Texas or Kansas state. Still think we have at least one team get in at 6-3.I also think Oklahoma state might run the table.

Punt return #1 means all of our punts better be out of bounds. Or we just go for it on 4th down.
It's expected when we're dead last in the conference on offense. And have less total yards than OK State and TCU, and they've played one less game.
