We're back to the freestyle topics on OTN this week. Thanks to all who posted on the Decade threads the last 3 weeks. Those threads can be found here:

Part 1 64 and 74
Part 2 84 and 94
Part 3 04 and 14

This week we are looking for locations/situations where a person would be awaiting transportation. Examples are Airport, Terminal, Train Station/Depot, Bus Station, Pier/Dock/Port, Bus Stop.

Being a location, or implying a location, is the topic. Not the mode of transportation or the waiting, per se.

Also allowed are songs with situations where it is obvious that someone is waiting for transportation. Hitchhiking is the obvious example of this, but there are songs where the specific location is not mentioned, but from the song, it is clear that the setting is one of those locations.

Your hosts for OTN are @cyclones500, @CycloneRulzzz and me.

The Thread Title track

“I’m lying here in the station, stretching out on the tracks / For all the possible places that I might arrive.”

—> I still hear the line a little differently: “I’m lying here in the station / and stretching out of the tracks / Are all the possible places that I might arrive.”

Picture yourself on a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile
The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes
