I looked up the lyrics for “Travelling” by John Mayall and see that he passed away yesterday.

"Travelling"

Travelling, pack a bag and lock the door
Wondering what the journey has in store
Hinterlands awaiting for me to explore

Travelling, flying over icy seas
Where I'm going, snow is falling on the trees
But I don't mind, I got a coat in case I freeze

Travelling, looking for the winter end
Take my time, gonna take it easy then
Before I die, I wanna look at everywhere

He was standin' by the highway
With a sign that just said "mother"
When he heard a driver comin'
'Bout a half a mile away

Minnesota
"It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw"

And:
"Kathy," I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh
"Michigan seems like a dream to me now"
It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw
I've gone to look for America
