On That Note: (Don't) Touch That Dial

You must be a disco man.
I don’t know what gets you out of bed in the morning, but for me it is the hope that today will finally be the day that someone says to me there are some Puerto Rican girls just dyin’ to meet you. With any luck they’ll bring a case of wine and we’ll mess/fool around (like we used to).

But I digress.

Rock bands doing disco songs in earnest is a ******* awesome genre unto itself.

While I despised “Wildest Dreams” when it was seemingly on the radio every 15 minutes I’ve come around to actually being excited when it comes on nowadays.
My boss in college was a huge Moody Blues fan so when that came out he would play it on the juke box at least a couple of times a day if not hourly. That was in addition to hearing it on the radio.

But I think the rule was hating the song, not hating it being overplayed, so I can't say that I hate it.

OK, I suspect we share an unambiguous non-repetition based hated song from that same summer (‘86):

Heard 5 seconds of this song today and made me think of this thread immediately.
