Yeah I’d much rather we were playing them mid-season. Expect lots of high risk trick plays, onside kicks, zero blitzes, etc. This will be their swan song.

When asked yesterday, Heacock said there are no trick plays if you play assignment football. Do your job, IOW.

Lets finish the Regular Season out strong. It's just a 1 game difference but 8-4 sounds a lot better to me than 7-5. Also don't want to end your regular season losing to a team that is 1-10 going into the game.

I touched the Telephone Trophy that game during the celly & carrying Mac off the field after beating Mizzou. Good memory in a down season record wise. McCarney more than deserved that win.

Luckily, Gundy is already gone in Stillwater. If it was his confirmed last game I'd be more worried from that coach send-off aspect.

This season they've just been flat bad and they were OK in '23, 7-2 in Big 12 play and 10-4 overall and getting pasted a couple of times by bad/marginal teams but just really fell off last season.

Utah/KU right now is proof of how things can get weird so I don't expect them to go quietly tomorrow.
