I can't recall a USMNT match getting lightning delayed since I've been a fan (2006ish). Does this happen in MLS very often?

Timing is brutal. Our attack was looking relentless.
it is crazy, you almost never see it. Seems like most MLS games i have seen they don't really get bad storms. Just rain in Portland and Seattle. I can't remember the last soccer match i have seen that was delayed for weather.
For those wondering, if this game gets delayed to tomorrow, the scoreline and the minute it was stopped will remain in place. Any changes to the lineup would have to be official subs, they cannot change who are the subs (Not really needed here), etc. etc.
Damnit JP why did you schedule this at night. You know we have storms at night in July. Control the damn weather.
Glad the weather delay is not in Des Moines (like earlier today), as I might lose my Direct TV reception!

Teams are definitely trending the way I would like. I expect Mexico to give us their best game of the tournament at the same time. Hope the team is dialed in and ready. Would be great to get the Gold Cup this year.
