I mentioned this to another US fan recently, if Hoppe played for Canada, I’d hate him so, so, so, so much. Since he’s ours, I love him intensely.

I have to agree with the Hoppe love. I did not really know a whole lot about him until this tourney but I've loved watching him play.

How many of the other teams were playing B/C level players in this tourney? I'd have to think US could see a rise in FIFA rankings with a win here based on who is playing.
