Officially attending my first game as an Iowa state fan tonight. Anything special I should know as far as common fan chants or etiquette? Like when we get a first down does the crowd scream 'don't look directly into the sun' or anything crazy like that? Oh and Go Cyclones!

Officially attending my first game as an Iowa state fan tonight. Anything special I should know as far as common fan chants or etiquette? Like when we get a first down does the crowd scream 'don't look directly into the sun' or anything crazy like that? Oh and Go Cyclones!

Chant wise it will probably be cyclone power pre kickoff. Depending on what side of the stadium you are on fans yell one of the two. After first downs the PA announcers will say "that's another Cyclone" and the stadium yells first down

It's big and loud, with people in bleachers on each side and the south side, too. Then you see the band, hear the sirens, and some football happens.
