Here is how I read it.

Cam is laughing on the bench getting blown out. Trying to get Talley laughing with him. Conditt looks behind him towards Lard. Team says they have a players only meeting. Prohm says he met with every player for 10-20 minutes about what their thoughts were on the collapse the last couple weeks. Next game, Lard doesn't play. Seems fairly easy for me to figure out.
Looks like you’re reading into it an awful lot with no real information.

That said, I have no idea what’s going with Prohm and Lard. The whole things weird.

True, your numbers/averages don't lie. And I appreciate the information as I've learned a great deal about basketball over the last few years from many of the posters on this board.
But I guess the question I should have posed is, why aren't all of our guys shooting in the 75 and above % range? Is it lack of skill, vision issues, too soft, bad luck, never learned how in HS or AAU,...or is it possible to just practice the hell out of this skill in the offseason and raise your numbers?
What exactly is it you possibly "dislike" about my comment? Was it the compliment I paid the well-informed, level-headed and knowledgeable posters who share that knowledge and have taught me so much about the game I have zero first-hand knowledge of, which I truly appreciate. Or, was the honest question I asked offensive? Geesh! Perhaps my question was misunderstood. All the reasons above are the descriptions I have heard mentioned on this forum - obviously, my repeating them is tongue in cheek. But, my question, perhaps obvious, was sincere. Is it possible for a player to practice jillions of FT and get better? Seems as though it could be.
The disgruntled, petty, argumentative, often remarkably juvenile posters (NOT the ones who respectfully disagree and rationally support their positions) are such a waste of time and space on this forum.

I would be shocked if Cam played another minute in an Iowa State uniform. I think that message was pretty clear when he didn’t play a minute on Saturday.

Didn't CSP say in the post-game presser that Cam would be playing in the Big 12 tourney or am I misremembering? He also said he wished he'd put George back in during the end of the second half of TT game, I think. Seem I've heard that somewhere before...

I was at the WVa. game a couple of rows back from our bench. I saw the above mentioned laughter which seemed weirdly out of place at the time. Although I hesitate to read too much into body language, I did notice during the huddles, when he wasn't in the lineup, he stood back a bit from the players, fiddling with his socks and looking around rather than engaged in the huddle. Reminded me of a bored little leaguer picking dandelions out in right field.
