***Official Thon Maker Recruitment Thread***

This would be an unofficial official visit. Would love for Prohm or TJ to go find and chat him up. Of course it would probably violate about a thousand NCAA rules. Maybe they could talk to him before the game and get Self riled up right out of the gate. He could get his normal T about 3 minutes into the game.

Not sure this would be a problem. I specifically remember an ISU recruit who was also being recruited by OU going over to the OU bench before the game and shaking hands/chatting with Krueger and Co. before the game started.

I don't remember the recruits name, but remember it happening. Maybe the kid from Minnesota?

He'll be going to a school that will prepare him best for the NBA #oneanddone
"Maker is an extra long post that is very athletic, mobile and skilled for his size and age. He runs the floor with long strides and catches and finishes on the move extremely well. Maker hunts block shots and what he doesn't block he changes. He finishes above the rim ...

This is an interesting development (especially with KU gaining traction in Thon's recruitment)

@scottphillips Thon Maker will apply for the 2016 NBA Draft, per Bleacher Report. If eligible, this could shake up the draft.

@evandaniels Thon Maker & his camp have been talking with the NBA about the upcoming Draft for some time. They expect an answer as early as this week.

@jeffrobbins Thon Maker's guardian said several times Maker would not attend college if they weren't certain he was going to be eligible.

@jeffrobbinsThon Maker's guardian said several times "He's not going through what Cheick (Diallo) went through." Diallo had to sit out to start at KU.

The likely hood of him coming here is low so I'll wish him well in the NBA

Lol of course. Looks like his handler just couldn't wait another year to cash out on the kid.

If you were Thon, you would go too.

Why run the risk of dropping in college if you can eliminate that risk?

Guys like Thon and Diallo aren't coming to college to become beloved 4-yr players like Hield or Niang, or even to win NC's for that matter. It's purely a 1-yr vehicle to make millions.

This. Kentucky freshmen are over their tournament loss before they get on the bus. $$$

I don't blame him I just find it funny how much his handler has pimped him around his entire HS career.
