I admittedly have seen next to zero of Virginia this year.

1.) The ACC is hot garbage outside of Duke.

2.) Virginia does not have a win against a top 5 seed in the NCAA tournament the entire year. Best wins on the year are 6 seed Louisville and 6 seed Miami.

I thought they looked very solid last night.

A lot like ISU imo,: not overly athletic but seem really connected and probably have to be to max out.

You and Michigan, the path is very enviable. Shouldn’t have an issue till the elite 8.

I think Tennessee upsets Virginia and Alabama upsets Michigan. Four teams left in that region in Chicago will be Michigan, Iowa State, Alabama, Tennessee. ISU vs Alabama for FF.

Agree on Tenn, disagree on bama but yeah it’s the best quadrant to be in by a mile.

I didn’t watch the whole thing but had the opposite takeaway. They looked offensively outmatched to me, though credit to them for keeping Duke at bay. It didn’t seem to me like Virginia would be able to put up 80 on Arizona, for example. But maybe I should’ve watched it all

Also important to note the Virginia program was blown up in the offseason with a coaching change. All of their best players (including Blake Buchanan) transferred out. Would be a darn impressive accomplishment to take a brand new coaching staff and roster to an Elite 8.
