*** Official Selection Sunday Thread ***

Not the point. My point is not to look past any opponent as evidenced by what happened against Hampton.

That's the team's job. Not ours.

I'm not even sure if ISU was looking past anyone at that time as much that they were a mess.

It's also important to remember the 99-00 team found themselves in a tie ball game with about 5 minutes left in their first game after being up 20.

Hopefully this ISU tesm is sharp and can simply win and advance.

Some Tennessee State stats from my score app

31st in pace
127th FG%
311th in 3 pt shots made
230th in 3 pt %
60th rebounding
38th in offensive rebounding
228th in assists
7th in steals
247th in turnovers
143rd offensive rating
52nd defensive rating

Some things that will get our guys' attention (steals and rebounds), but are not great at one of our weaknesses as they aren't a huge threat from 3 and they're weak at passing and taking care of the ball.

Only tournament team that they faced appears to be @ Tennessee, and they lost that one 89-60

Dunno if any of you whippersnappers are old enough to remember 64 -62 = BIG EIGHT, so let
yer Uncle pourcyne say it here first...

64 - 60 = BIG XII.jpg
Yokay.

My work here is done.

I would have lost my bet that they were going to put Nebraska in our bracket for the story line of Hoiberg vs Lipsey.
