St John’s getting a five seed is horrible. This committee is bad.

St. John’s as a 5 means they aren’t respecting the Big East. I am ok with that. Their resume isn’t much beyond beating UConn. I thought they would get a 4, but a 5 isn’t shocking.

Seems likely. With Nebby, Illinios, or Purdue as the 3.

I'd like to hear a persuasive rationale, but I do see bracketmatrix had them as a 5.

Interesting that they placed both UConn and St. John's in the east.

Opposite sides of the bracket though. They wouldn’t meet until the E8 if they make it that far (which at least one, if not both, won’t)

They were kinda so-so on the season overall but imo still have tall fast dudes that can be a problem.

Quad 3 loss. 5-5 in quad 1. 5 seed doesn’t seem that crazy to me. Big east was ass this year.

They might have dropped them a line due to those weird bracketing issues. I think they can move teams down or up a line.
