*** Official Selection Sunday Thread ***

Agreed. The times we have had a 2 seed in the past there was constant conversation about what 1 seed we would want most, but we have never made it that far. I am encouraged by what I have seen out of this team in the past week, but am still wary of any matchup past the first round.
I'm more worried about a round of 32 game than Sweet 16 or Elite 8 match up. Get to the 2nd weekend, and this team would be nails. But that sleepy, 11 am Saturday game against any team from the overlooked grab bag of (6, 7, 10, 11 seeds) is giving me Cincy vibes.

OMG, two of the first three highlights at the start of the Selection Show were us. Tamin making a layup. Bradley making his winning shot in the AZ game.

Haha, Pearl couldn't pronounce Fran's last name when talking about the Penn fluke win.

How the hell does anyone have UConn ahead of us? We have more Q1 wins and they have a Q2 and a Q3 loss!! They should be a 3-seed at best.
This. UConn lost twice to St. Johns, whom we beat earlier in the year. Of course, the Committee does not specifically look at records vs common opponents, but it underscores the overall softness of UConn's resume (56th SoS, only 4 Wins above Bubble, Net of 10). That said, if UConn is a 2 seed and we are a 3 seed in the same region, our guards should be salivating at the opportunity to them over (UConn is 183rd in TO%).
