Recency bias playing large with these ESPN guys. If Indiana hangs on and takes care of business yesterday after that big lead, not a single one of them would be picking Iowa to make the Final Four.

So much this. Indiana had Iowa beat and literally threw it away. And Indiana isn't even that good....... didn't even make the tourney..... just the play in game.

I guess wins over Minnesota, Maryland, Rutgers, Northwestern, Nebraska count for a lot more than I thought.

I haven't seen most of the Iowa-to-Final-Four projections (other than Clark Kellogg) -- I assume it's a popular "outlier" pick among teams seeded below 4 line, but I dont' see Iowa navigating its way THAT far. First two rounds may be favorable. (I don't trust Providence, for example).

If I was forced to pick a "5 seed to Final Four" gambit, I'd take UConn first, Houston second.

All these national guys with Iowa in the final four. LoL
LOL?? I wish I could share your sentiment. But, I'm starting to almost get nauseated knowing that with how beatable everyone is, that Iowa could actually do it 'IF' they play and shoot like they have been the last 10 games.

Women's seed. STUPID. No way we should be in Iowa's bracket.

Eh, ISU has been the fun "darkhorse" plenty if times that never panned out. Feel this is about the same. A lot of offensive power. Not a complete team and far from great.
