I can understand why 2 of the play-in games are 16 seeds, but why are the other 2 games 11/12 seeds?

Its garbage tournament wise, as the teams that are seeded higher have proven more, but nobody would watch a night of all 16 seeds, where they still get a small viewership when its the 11/12 seeds

I figured ULCA would get that slot. Only other team in top-3/4 range anywhere close is San Diego, which will go to Spokane. (scant choices for those west-coast slots)

Agreed... Most likely New Mexico, Syracuse, Florida just to make the final 4. That is a hard path.
