***Official Postgame Toledo Thread***

Don't think I want that Toledo coach, as some here were suggesting earlier this week

Also, Richardson shouldn't play another game this year. Hasn't progressed at all, and he won't do anything for this team. I think it's time to give Lanning a shot, I mean, it's not like he could do much worse

I am just dumbfounded that you can be a head coach of a power football conference team and be so stupid that you don't know to put your kicker in the middle of the field. Especially when you look at how it cost us a Big 12 North title in the past. I can't understand how he could get this job, but it sure explains why our program is always brain-farting their way to losses and not developing any QBs.
Rhoads is a complete idiot and should be relieved of his duties asap. What a **** show this game was. This program is a mess!!

Being undisciplined with sub-par talent is a bad combination, and that's us. What'd we have 14-16 penalties tonight?!

Both teaching discipline and bringing in talent rest on the coaches..time for change...that was a pathetic display of football.

I told friends and co-workers that we would know really early in the season whether Rhoads will be fired this year based on the way the schedule was front loaded with patsies. I told them if we didn't start off at least 3-2 in the first 5 games he should be canned mid-season. Guess what....we're not gonna get to 3-2.

Hopefully we kept the receipt for the SEZ, we can return it, and put the money towards buying out contracts.

Why. He just beat 2 P5 schools back to back. Toledo will prob be ranked and will win the Mac. He's young and is recruiting better than CPR. Imagine what he might do with our facilities. I half kid....I'm just so ****** off at how poorly coached this team is and how Sam didn't just throw the damn ball up.

Bright spots:
1. We won time of possession 38 to 22
2. We had 481 yards of offense vs. 309 for Toledo
3. We had a 100 yard rusher in Mike Warren

Too bad we had 14 penalties for 113 yards.

I'm sure the pundits will blame the line, the kicker, the receivers etc. But this is a top down thing. If you don't act now and send a statement that losing to MAC teams, sub-Par Kansas teams, is not OK then you are saying it is Tonight I see that the tide will not magically turn, the Team will not have a ah-ha moment. For the fans and these players you gotta let CPR go. And I'm not a CPR hater either...it's just a performance that is not getting any better with time.
