Big time!!
This is a really big get. His numbers aren't eye popping, but he looks like a solid back that can run and catch. And his former coach at Bowling Green is NFL HOF RB Eddie George

Big time!!
With the way programs can just tamper freely now by talking to agents, I’d expect them to get in some high level QBs earWith Oregon taking Riola and LSU Levitt, Miami is probably SOL on a QB right? They've been a big spender at that spot the last two years but won't be a factor this year.
I feel that list of superstars is 3, but your point still remains valid.I am a 49er and Cyclone fan. Both teams have been decimated the last 2 years by injuries. The 49ers have 4 superstars out with injuries: Bosa, Ayuk, Kittle, Warner. Is it smart to pay high dollars for a few players who might get hurt or might not fit the system? Or is it better to spread the wealth and have a balanced talent level? So far, I am very impressed with the coaching staff at ISU and their ability to restock the roster.
It Colorado game iirc ….Slightly off topic, what game/week did Ryver Peppers get injured? Prevailing wisdom says it takes 10 to 16 months to come back from an Achilles injury.
while they did play a lot of blowouts, NDSU has had a committee backfield for quite a while now, certainly during Roehl's tenure there, even in competitive games. They usually rotate 2-3 different backs. I could see a more two-headed backfield like Detroit has had with Gibbs and Montgomery.HUGE grain of salt looking at NDSU distribution there.
They simply didn't play many competitive games in that window so they were pulling starters early and giving carries to young guys.
Wouldn't read anything into it at all.
We have to fill walk on positions too. No one has confirmed any of these players as scholarship or walk ons.7 receptions for 36 yards this year! Maybe he was hurt during the 2025 season and maybe the coaching staff have prior knowledge of his capabilities? Let's hope so.
Does Jesus have a say?Would sure hope Allah isn't the last RB the staff brings in.
One thing I've noticed is they've done all they've gotten done while also getting pretty decent balance of classes for the long haul. This one here from cycloneman003? Junior.Braden Awls was just a sophomore this year
I think over time a consensus will emerge regarding percentage of budget to spend on particular positions. Of course there will always be outliers. I think I like the idea that low budget schools should spend the bulk of their money on retaining players who are with the program.I am a 49er and Cyclone fan. Someone who follows this better than I do....
I keep seeing these. ISU getting Auburn and Oklahoma linemen. Recruits that seem ready to perform at a high level now
Is Jimmy knocking the cover off of the ball here? Sure feels like it, but I've been fooled before
Based on this I do not believe they are done on the oline, TE or CBThis one here from cycloneman003? Two tabs on this spreadsheet, one for overall roster movement, one for scholarship/grade breakdown by position: Iowa State Football Roster Tracker

Both teams had a plethora of injuries the past two seasons. What is the one commonality? You as a fan. Perhaps you are a jinx. Would you mind rooting for the Hawkeyes this season just to be safe?I am a 49er and Cyclone fan. Both teams have been decimated the last 2 years by injuries. On offense, seems like another couple TE bodies, one more WR and a little more depth along the OL, particularly someone else who can play center.Based on this I do not believe they are done on the oline, TE or CB
Gotta get Rutledge back!!! CMC talked very highly of him... and Clanton even said that he was a mean dude that he wouldn't want to meet in the hallway by himself. Those comments by them made me think he was a given to be headed to PSU.... so I hope he comes back!!! 6'7" and 320 lbs.On offense, seems like another couple TE bodies, one more WR and a little more depth along the OL, particularly someone else who can play center.
On defense, seems like DL and LB are pretty set unless something falls in your lap you can't pass up. I think we need one more CB and are a couple light at S.
By that math, I'm thinking another 8-10 guys? Now, that'll mean my scholarship "tracker" is off as I'm just making the assumption that the transfers in are going on scholarship and I added Flora/Konrardy/Surges as scholarship guys who were former walk-ons. Obviously if we add another 10 transfers (plus any of the 5 TBD holdovers) then we're well past 85, so some may be coming as walk-ons or partial scholarships.
I believe his OC at UCF is the QB coach at Purdue.
Also, how do you land on Purdue with visits scheduled to FSU, ND, and Missery?
