It was his first and only touch of the season, against ColoradoSlightly off topic, what game/week did Ryver Peppers get injured? Prevailing wisdom says it takes 10 to 16 months to come back from an Achilles injury.

While any position is a "key" position, it seems he's back filling critical foundation spots with larger school athletes. Then, building a larger base with smaller school quality athletes who are GD hungry to prove themselves at a higher level. Full of piss and vinegar and ready to go. My 2 cents.
Yup. JP knew he was hiring a guy who knew how to build a portal team. It’s the new normal, and we now have a coach who knows how, and wants, to work it.Assembling an entire college football roster on the fly is really something.
we also need non starters to practice with7 receptions for 36 yards this year! Maybe he was hurt during the 2025 season and maybe the coaching staff have prior knowledge of his capabilities? Let's hope so.
They'll pull a QB off an NFL practice squad. You can do that now in the NCAA.With Oregon taking Riola and LSU Levitt, Miami is probably SOL on a QB right? They've been a big spender at that spot the last two years but won't be a factor this year.
Does anyone have an updated version of that depth by position spreadsheet that someone was keeping? Thanks
HUGE grain of salt looking at NDSU distribution there.TBD at RB, but him and Flora will be in a fun battle for the starting kickoff return role.
I doubt we see a lead back.. Likely by committee in the Roehl system (See 2023 NDSU):

On his visit to K State, they tried to do the PJ Fleck tactic of "commit now or your offer is pulled." He gave Klien the bird and said I'd rather be in Ames
