I trust the staff 100%, and glad we have him, I just didn’t know what level of football this was?

Whether Washington or any other entity you’d think it would be a simple breach of contract if he left and did not okay there, right?

We need a lawyer to make an educated opinion.

I just remember my business law and sports law classes. Courts not really excited to force people to work. Similar to non-competes. Someone can sign a contract, but might be tough for company to enforce.

.500 is my realistic goal. If we win 7-8 games I'll be ecstatic. This haul in the portal gives me hope we won't be terrible.

Would be very encouraging if we’re competitive in the league and we see signs of a cultured program with solid coaching and the team improves throughout the year.

That is the whole point! People think he is trying to save all of CFB! He is not. The only thing he cares about is TT, period. The only way it works out as good for us or anyone is if it is good for TT.

People here have the delusion that he is spending all the money on TT, that he is lobbying congress, that all his ideas and plans are for the good of CFB. They are not, its about what is good for TT, and only TT.

Am I faulting him for taking care of his own, nope. But I dont have any delusions he would sacrifice everyone and anyone in the process too.

I really don’t think many think he’s trying to save anything. If the last 10-12 years in college athletics has taught us anything, it’s take care of your own self interest before anything else. You’re in the Big 12 or ACC and can escape, you do it. Others, your on your own. Sad reality unfortunately.

Yeah, not sure you go into the season with what we’ve currently got and feel confident about it. I think we need a bigger back that might be a bit more durable if we can get.

I calculate 102 kids on the roster right now, but there are some walk-ons that are graduating soon and I don't know if any of them will return as 5th year seniors - WR Ty Claiborne, OT Gabriel Greenlee, OL Braden Simonsen, DT Easton Eledge, DE Chet Andrews, DB Eddie Lemos, S Caden Kock.

There are quite a few other walk-ons that I don't know if they will be on the team. It's harder to find info on them than the scholarship players - QB Wyatt Bohm, QB Major Cantrell, RB Easton Miller, RB AJ Petersen, WR Jonathan Vande Walle, WR Carson Robbins, WR Sam Zelenovich, TE Vince Benetti, TE Cash Hayden, OL Makai Sat, S Connor Welsch, DB Angelo Jackson, DB Wyatt Archer, K Chase Smith, P Jonah DuPont, LS Jacob Lyftogt, LS Gavin Schieler.

And the following scholarship players have not announced anything as far as I know - RB Ryver Peppers, TE Cooper Alexander, OL Garret Rutledge, OL Derek Jensen, OL Carson Rhodes, OL Dontrell Holt, DT Ka'Mori Moore, DE Vontroy Malone, LB Will McLaughlin, CB David Coffey, S Ethan Stecker, DB LaMarcus Hicks II.

No they didn't. Both supposedly ran into eligibility issues and transferred to CSU as a result.
